The owner of a profitable family business in the 8th generation with a sales volume of approximately 60 million Euro did not have a suitable successor.
After consultations with IMC the owner decided to sell his enterprise to the management. IMC organized the entire sales process, including the financing of the selling price which was done by the management, private investors, an equity capital fund and banks.
IMC was, among other things, responsible for
- the compilation of a comprehensive company presentation.
- advisory services to investors and banks during the due diligence processes.
- the structuring, moderation and negotiation of the extensive contracts jointly with expert advocates and
- the initiation of the optimal tax arrangement for the acquisition with the support of tax consultants recommended by IMC.
Today the enterprise achieves a sales volume of approximately 90 million Euro and a return on sales of more than 10 %.
